External CD Player for 2019-2026 Porsche 911

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Porsche 911 models that lack a factory CD drive. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing CarPlay system. Audio is controlled using the original radio or steering wheel buttons.

Check USB port and CarPlay before ordering

Verify that your 911 has an accessible USB data port that supports CarPlay connectivity. The unit draws power from that same port, so no separate wiring or fuse tap is needed. Allow two minutes for the first disc to finish indexing before evaluating operation.

Replaces missing factory CD drive

This device restores the ability to play physical CDs in vehicles where the manufacturer omitted the slot. The upgrade is worthwhile for owners who keep a library of discs and want them playable through the stock infotainment interface without replacing the head unit.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and is any extra wiring or mounting hardware needed?

The package includes the USB CD player, a printed instruction manual and the cable that plugs directly into the vehicle USB port. No additional wiring or tools are required; the unit can be placed vertically or horizontally wherever the cable reaches.

Which Pro Star CD player version fits a 2019-2026 Porsche 911?

This single model is built for 2019-2026 Porsche 911 vehicles and connects through the factory USB port, so there are no separate capacity or trim options to choose from.

How does the CD player work once it is plugged into the 911's USB port?

After plugging in, allow about two minutes for the disc to finish indexing. Playback is then controlled through the factory radio or steering wheel controls via CarPlay, with the player powered entirely by the USB connection.
