Adds an external CD player to 2019-2026 Rolls-Royce Phantom via USB CarPlay with plug-and-play installation
This Pro Star CD player adds disc playback to 2019–2026 Rolls-Royce Phantom models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for CarPlay integration. The device is powered entirely through that USB connection, so no separate power wiring is required. Factory radio and steering-wheel controls manage playback once the unit is installed.
After inserting a disc, the player indexes the CD for about two minutes before it is ready for use. Interrupting this process requires restarting the installation with a different disc and repeating the full setup sequence. Once indexed, the drive draws continuous power from the USB port during extended listening sessions. The unit has no internal battery and relies on the vehicle's USB supply for all operation.
This unit fills the gap left when Rolls-Royce omitted a built-in CD player from the Phantom. It upgrades the infotainment system by restoring physical-media playback without modifying the dashboard or running new wiring. The jump is worth it for owners who keep a CD library and want control through the original steering-wheel buttons. Buyers who need Bluetooth streaming or digital-file playback from a USB stick cannot use this device for those functions.

The vehicle must be equipped with a functional USB port that supports CarPlay; the player plugs directly into that port with no extra wiring.
Yes, the device is designed to let the factory radio and steering-wheel buttons control playback once the CD finishes its two-minute indexing process.
