Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player

The Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player adds an external CD drive to 2019-2026 Toyota Yaris models that lack a factory unit. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port for power and data, enabling CarPlay access through the existing infotainment system. Installation is plug-and-play with no wiring or tools required, and the unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the console or in the glove box.

Suits Yaris owners wanting CD playback

This device suits Yaris owners who want to play physical CDs through their factory radio and steering wheel controls. It is not for buyers who need a full head unit replacement with its own screen or amplifier, nor for vehicles outside the 2019-2026 Yaris range where the USB port may not support the required CarPlay protocol.

USB-powered plug-and-play installation

The single specification that decides fitment is the plug-and-play USB connection to the factory port, which supplies both power and the CarPlay signal without additional wiring. Buyers must allow two minutes for CD indexing to complete before use, or restart the process with a different disc if interrupted.

Questions about this item

How does the CD player connect to the car's infotainment system?

The USB cable plugs directly into the vehicle's USB port to access CarPlay; no additional wiring or tools are required.

What limits the data transfer speed of this device?

The connection runs over the car's USB port, so throughput is capped by that port's specification.

Where can the unit be mounted inside the cabin?

It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches.
