Pro Star CarPlay USB CD Player for e-Golf 2019-2026

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Volkswagen e-Golf models that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and integrates with Apple CarPlay so the factory radio and steering-wheel buttons control playback. The plug-and-play design requires no extra wiring or tools.

Capacity and headroom

The unit plays standard audio CDs and draws power from the car's USB socket, so there is no separate power supply to manage. It handles one disc at a time and relies on the vehicle's infotainment system for file decoding; very large music libraries on a single disc may exceed the head-unit's indexing capability.

Build quality and daily use

The compact chassis can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches. A printed instruction sheet is included, and the maker advises allowing two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use to avoid set-up issues.
