Add-on CD player for Audi A7

This external USB CD player is designed for 2019-2026 Audi A7 models that lack a factory disc drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. The unit is intended for drivers who still prefer physical media over streaming or digital files. Installation requires no additional wiring or tools.

Vehicle-specific USB integration

The single specification that determines fitment is the 2019-2026 Audi A7 compatibility range. The device plugs into the car's existing USB port to communicate with the factory infotainment system. No other vehicle makes, model years, or connection types are supported by this hardware.

Factory control retention and flexible mounting

The included package provides a printed instruction manual that guides the mandatory two-minute CD indexing process. This allows the driver to control playback using the original radio interface or steering wheel buttons. The compact drive can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console or inside the glove box.

Questions about this item

How does the USB-powered CD player integrate with my Audi A7's existing audio system?

The unit plugs into the vehicle's USB port and lets you control playback through the factory radio or steering wheel controls, with no extra wiring required.

What USB interface does the player use and what limits does it impose?

It draws power and data from the car's USB port, so operation is limited to the port's available current and the vehicle's media-handling capabilities.

Where can I mount the CD player in my Audi A7?

The device can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches the port.
