Pro Star USB CD Player for 2019-2026 BMW 8 Series

This external CD player adds disc playback to BMW 8 Series models from 2019 to 2026 that lack a factory unit. It connects through the vehicle's USB port and integrates with the existing radio and steering-wheel controls. The device is powered entirely by the USB connection and requires no separate power supply. It suits owners who still use physical CDs and want a simple, integrated solution.

Plug-and-play installation

The unit plugs directly into the car's USB port with no additional wiring or tools required. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the cable reaches. Setup requires allowing two minutes for the CD to finish indexing; interrupting this process forces a restart with a different disc and a return to step one of the printed instructions. Following the manual exactly prevents the most common installation issue.

Limited to vehicles with a compatible USB interface

Operation depends on the vehicle's USB port supporting the necessary communication protocol for audio and control integration. The player draws all power from that port, so the car's USB output must supply sufficient current. Compatibility is confined to the 2019-2026 BMW 8 Series range; other models or years are not supported. No Bluetooth audio streaming or smartphone mirroring functions are provided by this device.
