Add-on CD Player for 2019-2026 BMW X4

This Pro Star unit adds a single-slot CD player to BMW X4 models from 2019 to 2026 that lack a factory disc drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from that same connection. The device mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the cable reaches.

Drivers who still use physical discs.

The player suits owners who want to keep listening to their existing CD collection through the factory audio system. Control is handled by the original radio or steering-wheel buttons, so no new interface is needed. Buyers who only stream music or use digital files will not benefit from the hardware.

Printed manual and flexible mounting

A printed instruction sheet is included and stresses a two-minute indexing wait after disc insertion to avoid setup problems. The USB cable length determines placement options, allowing vertical or horizontal orientation in the console or glove box. No extra wiring, adapters or tools are supplied or required.

Questions about this item

Does my 2019-2026 BMW X4 need a factory USB port for this Pro Star CD player to work?

Yes, the unit draws power and data directly from the vehicle's USB port with no extra wiring required.

Will the Pro Star CD player let me keep using the BMW X4's original radio and steering-wheel buttons?

The player integrates with the factory system so track changes and volume are handled by the existing radio or steering-wheel controls.

How do I know the Pro Star CD player has finished setting up after I insert a disc?

Wait about two minutes for the CD to complete indexing; if the process is interrupted, eject the disc, insert a different one and restart the installation steps.
