Add CD Playback to Your Ferrari

This Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc mechanism to 2019-2026 Ferrari F8 Tributo models that lack a factory CD drive. It draws power and data from the vehicle's existing USB port so no extra wiring or tools are required. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box or wherever the cable reaches.

Plug-and-Play Integration With Factory Controls

The accessory connects directly to the car's USB port and communicates with the original radio and steering-wheel buttons. After a brief indexing period the system lets you navigate tracks using the OEM interface. Printed instructions are included to guide the setup process.

Two-Minute Indexing Before First Use

The installer must allow the inserted disc to finish indexing for about two minutes before the player becomes operational. Interrupting this process means restarting the entire procedure from step one with a different disc. This single timing requirement determines whether the installation succeeds.

Questions about this item

Will the USB cable or the disc drive need replacing after a few years?

The unit draws power and data through the factory USB port, so only the supplied cable and the internal drive mechanism are subject to wear.

What stops me from playing CDs back-to-back on a long drive?

Each disc requires about two minutes to finish indexing before playback starts, so that indexing time is the first limit you will hit.

Does the player get hot or make noise when it runs all day?

It is powered by the car USB port with no fan, so heat and mechanical noise stay low during extended use.
