External CD Player for 2019-2026 Ford Evos

This Pro Star unit adds a single-disc CD player to Ford Evos models from 2019 to 2026 that lack a factory optical drive. It is designed for owners who still listen to physical media and want a simple way to play their existing CD collection through the car's original audio system.

USB-Powered Plug-and-Play Build

The device draws power directly from the vehicle's USB port, eliminating the need for separate wiring or an external power supply. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or wherever the supplied cable reaches the port. Playback is controlled using the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

Vehicle-Specific Compatibility Requirement

This player is built exclusively for 2019-2026 Ford Evos models and will not function in other vehicles. Installation requires allowing two minutes for the disc to finish indexing before use; interrupting this process means restarting the full setup procedure with a different disc.

Questions about this item

What USB standard does the Pro Star player use and what does it limit?

It connects through the vehicle's USB port for power and data, so playback speed and indexing time are bound by that port's output.

Where can the unit be mounted in a 2019-2026 Ford Evos?

The player can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or any location where the attached cable reaches the USB port.

What is the installation procedure and which step causes the most problems?

Plug the cable into the USB port, wait two minutes for the CD to finish indexing before using the controls, and restart from step one with a different disc if the process is interrupted.
