Vehicle Compatibility

The Pro Star USB CD player is designed for 2019-2026 Jeep Wagoneer models that lack a factory disc drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port to restore CD playback capability without replacing the original head unit.

Power and Operation

The unit draws power exclusively from the car's USB port, so no separate power wiring or adapters are required. Operation is managed through the factory radio or steering-wheel controls, keeping the cabin quiet and the electrical load minimal.

Installation Flexibility

A printed instruction manual is included, and the device can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches. The manual stresses allowing two minutes for CD indexing before use to avoid setup issues.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Pro Star USB CD Player in my 2019-2026 Jeep Wagoneer and what step causes setup issues?

Plug the USB cable directly into the vehicle's USB port and mount the unit vertically or horizontally. The critical step is allowing 2 minutes for the CD to finish indexing before use.

What maintenance or replacement will the Pro Star USB CD Player need over time?

The unit has no internal battery and draws power from the USB port, so no battery replacement is needed. Only the disc mechanism or USB cable may require attention if they wear out.

What is the first limitation that appears during extended playback with the Pro Star USB CD Player?

The player must index each inserted CD for up to 2 minutes before playback starts. Interrupting this process forces a full restart with a different disc.
