Vehicle-Specific CD Player

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a single-disc slot to 2019-2026 Kia Soul models that left the factory without one. It draws power and data from the vehicle's USB port, so no extra wiring or tools are required for installation.

Check Factory USB Port

Verify that your Soul has an accessible USB port capable of supplying power and data for an external accessory. The included cable must reach that port from the chosen mounting location, and the factory radio or steering-wheel controls must be able to command the player once connected.

Flexible Mounting Options

The compact unit can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or any flat surface the cable reaches. Printed instructions guide the two-minute disc-indexing process that must finish uninterrupted for reliable operation.

Questions about this item

Does the Pro Star USB CD Player come with everything needed for installation in my 2019-2026 Kia Soul?

Yes, the box includes the CD player unit, a USB cable that plugs directly into the car's port, printed installation instructions, and mounting hardware for vertical or horizontal placement. No extra wiring or tools are required.

Is there a difference between the model years 2019 to 2026 for this Pro Star CD player?

The unit is designed to be compatible across the entire 2019-2026 Kia Soul range. A single version covers all those model years, so there is no separate model to choose for a specific year.

How long does the indexing process take before I can play a CD through the factory radio?

The instructions require you to allow two minutes for the CD to finish indexing after insertion. If this process is interrupted, you must insert a different disc and restart the setup from step one.
