External CD Player for Lexus RZ Hybrid

This Pro Star USB CD player adds disc playback to 2019-2026 Lexus RZ Hybrid models that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from the same connection. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box.

Plug-and-play USB connection

Installation requires no additional wiring or tools beyond plugging the cable into the car's USB port. The device is powered entirely through that port and allows music control via the factory radio or steering wheel buttons. A printed instruction manual is included for the setup process.

Owners wanting CD playback in compatible Lexus

This suits Lexus RZ Hybrid drivers who still use physical CDs and have an available USB port for the connection. It is not for vehicles outside the 2019-2026 RZ Hybrid range, buyers without a free USB port, or anyone needing a multi-disc changer.

Questions about this item

How does the CD player work once it is plugged into the Lexus RZ Hybrid USB port?

The unit draws power from the USB port and indexes the disc for about two minutes. After that you control playback using the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

What connection standard does the player use and what does it limit?

It connects through the vehicle USB port, so audio and control signals are limited to what that port supports. No extra wiring or adapters are required.

Where can the device be mounted in the Lexus RZ Hybrid?

The player can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console, in the glove box, or anywhere the supplied cable reaches the USB port.
