External CD player for Mazda CX60

The Pro Star USB CD player adds a single-disc mechanism to 2019 to 2026 Mazda CX60 models that left the factory without one. It is aimed at drivers who still keep a library of audio CDs and want to play them through the car's original sound system without replacing the head unit.

USB-powered operation and indexing delay

The unit draws all its power from the vehicle's USB port so no extra wiring or adapters are required. After inserting a disc the system needs roughly two minutes to finish indexing before the tracks become selectable; interrupting that process means restarting the whole procedure from step one with a different disc.

Flexible mounting with factory integration

A supplied cable reaches the USB port while the player itself can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console inside the glove box or wherever the cable allows. Playback is then controlled through the existing radio faceplate or steering wheel buttons leaving the cabin layout unchanged.

Questions about this item

Which Pro Star USB CD Player model fits my 2019 to 2026 Mazda CX60?

This unit is built specifically for 2019-2026 Mazda CX60 vehicles and plugs directly into the factory USB port.

How does the CD player work once it is plugged into the car's USB port?

The device draws power from the USB port, indexes the disc in about two minutes, then lets you control playback through the factory radio or steering wheel buttons.

What connection does the player use and what does it limit?

It uses a single USB cable for both power and data, so the player only works in vehicles that have an available USB port.
