Add-on CD player for 2019-2026 Mercedes-Benz S Class

The Pro Star USB CD player is an external single-disc unit designed for 2019-2026 Mercedes-Benz S Class vehicles that lack a factory CD drive. It connects directly to the car's USB port and draws power from that same connection. The device lets you play audio CDs through the vehicle's original sound system.

Check for a USB port and indexing time

Before ordering, verify that your S Class has an accessible USB port the cable can reach. The supplier notes that each disc requires about two minutes to finish indexing after insertion; interrupting this process means you must restart the setup from step one with a different disc. Printed instructions are included in the box.

Mounts on console or in glove box

The compact player can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or anywhere the USB cable reaches. Because it uses the factory USB port for both power and data, no extra wiring, adapters or tools are needed. Steering-wheel and factory-radio controls continue to handle playback once the unit is installed.
