Vehicle Compatibility

This Pro Star USB CD player is designed for 2019 to 2026 Nissan NV200 models that lack a factory disc drive. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and is powered through that connection. The unit mounts vertically or horizontally on the centre console or in the glove box.

Sustained Operation

The device requires an uninterrupted two-minute indexing period after a disc is inserted before it is ready for use. If this process is stopped early, the disc must be removed, a different disc inserted, and the full installation sequence restarted from the beginning. Skip protection buffer helps maintain playback during vibration.

Installation Constraint

Plug-and-play operation depends entirely on the presence of a functional USB port in the dashboard. Vehicles without an accessible USB port cannot use this unit. No additional wiring, adapters or tools are supported by the design.

Questions about this item

Does the Pro Star USB CD player draw noticeable power or generate heat when left plugged into the Nissan NV200 USB port all day?

It is powered directly from the vehicle USB port with no external supply, so power draw is minimal and heat output is negligible during extended use.

What factory feature must the 2019-2026 Nissan NV200 already have for this CD player to function?

The vehicle must be equipped with a working USB port that supports media playback, because the player connects exclusively through that port.

Will the Pro Star unit work alongside the original radio and steering-wheel controls in a 2019-2026 Nissan NV200?

Yes, it is designed to let the factory radio and steering-wheel buttons control playback once the USB CD player is plugged in.
