Pro Star USB CD Player for Porsche Macan

The Pro Star USB CD Player adds a single-disc CD drive to 2019 through 2026 Porsche Macan models that left the factory without one. It connects directly to the vehicle's USB port and draws power from that same connection, so no separate power supply is required. Music playback is controlled through the factory radio or steering-wheel buttons, keeping the driver's hands on the wheel.

Plug-and-play integration with factory systems

The unit plugs into the existing USB port with no additional wiring, tools or dashboard modification needed. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box or wherever the cable reaches the port. Because it uses the car's original audio interface, the CD player does not occupy an auxiliary input or require an aftermarket head unit.

Indexing routine and printed guide

A printed instruction manual is included and must be followed exactly; the CD needs about two minutes to finish indexing before the installation is complete. Interrupting that process means starting over with a different disc and repeating every step from the beginning. No software downloads, apps or firmware updates are mentioned by the supplier.

Questions about this item

Does the USB CD player need its own power supply for long drives?

No, it draws power directly from the vehicle USB port so there is no separate adapter to manage.

How much heat or fan noise does the unit produce when running continuously?

The device has no moving cooling parts and draws minimal current, so it stays silent and barely warm during extended playback.

What factory feature must the Porsche Macan already have for this player to work?

The vehicle must be equipped with a functional USB port that supports media input.
