Add CD playback to 2019-2026 RAV4 Hybrid

This Pro Star USB CD player is designed for 2019-2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid owners whose vehicle lacks a factory disc drive. It connects directly to the car's USB port to restore the ability to listen to audio CDs through the original sound system.

Plug-and-play mounting on console or glovebox

The unit draws power from the USB connection and requires no extra wiring or tools for installation. It can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glovebox, or any location where the cable reaches the port. Factory radio and steering-wheel controls manage playback once the device is recognised.

Silent operation with USB power only

Because the mechanism is powered entirely by the vehicle USB port, there is no separate power supply and no additional load on the electrical system. The drive runs quietly during disc indexing and playback, adding no audible fan or motor noise to the cabin environment.

Questions about this item

How does the USB interface power the Pro Star CD player and what does it limit?

The USB port supplies all power and carries the audio signal, so the player works only while plugged into the vehicle's USB socket.

Where can the unit be mounted in a 2019-2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid?

It can be secured vertically or horizontally on the centre console, inside the glove box, or any flat surface the supplied cable reaches.

What installation step causes the most setup failures?

Allow the first CD to finish indexing for the full two minutes before touching any controls; interrupting it forces a complete restart with a new disc.
