Fluorescent Gaffers Tape for Stage & Studio

Pro Tapes Pro-Gaff-Neon is a vinyl coated cloth tape with a matte finish and high performance adhesive. The fluorescent blue color glows vividly under blacklight for high visibility marking. It is hand tearable with a smooth controlled unwind for fast application. Engineered for demanding stage, studio and event applications.

Limits of Cloth Gaffers Tape Adhesion

The tape removes cleanly from most surfaces but adhesion varies with texture and temperature. It is waterproof and abrasion resistant yet not designed for permanent structural bonds. The matte finish reduces light reflection but does not eliminate it completely. Not a glow in the dark product; fluorescence requires a UV source to activate.

Replaces Standard Duct & Spike Tapes

Upgrades from basic duct tape with clean removal, conformability to irregular surfaces and tear resistance. Replaces separate spike tape rolls for colour coding and marking tasks. The jump is worth it when blacklight visibility, residue free removal and hand tear speed matter on professional sets.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the fluorescent blue roll or one of the other colours?

The tape comes in five fluorescent colours — blue, green, orange, pink and yellow — each with the same strength and adhesive; pick the colour that matches your coding or stage-marking needs.

How does the 50-yard length hold up when securing cables on a rig?

A single 50-yard roll provides enough length for multiple cable runs, carpet hold-downs and bundling tasks without frequent roll changes.

What does the matte finish mean for lighting and camera work?

The matte surface reduces glare under stage lights and on camera, while the vinyl-coated cloth remains hand-tearable and conforms to irregular surfaces.
