Cable-path zone-coated gaffers tape

Pro Tapes Cable-Path Tape is a vinyl-coated cloth tape with adhesive only on the edges. The centre section stays smooth so cables slide through without binding. Matte finish reduces light reflection and the backing tears by hand. Supplied on a three-inch core.

Check surface and width before ordering

Ensure the mounting surface is clean and compatible with a cured rubber adhesive system. The tape measures 96 mm wide with a smooth centre zone roughly two and a half inches across. Verify that this width fits the cable tray or floor run you plan to use.

Suits temporary cable routing with clean removal

Ideal for installers who need to pull cables through a protected path and later remove the tape without residue. Not suited for permanent high-traffic floor marking where a fully adhesive striped gaffer tape would stay in place longer.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what must I supply myself?

The roll includes the 96 mm wide vinyl-coated cloth tape on a 3-inch core. You only need a surface to apply it to; no dispenser or extra adhesive is required.

How do I decide between the 4-inch and 6-inch versions?

The 4-inch roll gives a 2-1/2-inch smooth centre for cable pulling, while the 6-inch roll provides a 3-1/2-inch centre — choose the wider roll when you need more sliding space for larger cable bundles.

What does the 30-yard length mean once the tape is on the floor?

You get a continuous 30-yard run of zone-coated gaffer tape with adhesive edges and a low-reflectivity matte centre that lets cables slide freely during installation and removes cleanly afterwards.
