Studio flash sync cable
This Profoto cable connects an Air Remote or Air Sync unit to any studio flash fitted with a 1/4 inch sync socket. It provides a direct wired link for wireless triggering setups in studio or on-location environments. The short length keeps the connection tidy and prevents excess cable from interfering with lighting stands or modifiers.
0.29 metre fixed length
At 0.98 ft (0.29 m) the cable offers just enough reach for close-range connections between trigger and flash without leaving coils of slack. It suits compact rigs where the remote mounts directly on the flash or sits on a nearby bracket. The fixed length cannot be extended, so setups needing greater separation will require a different cable.
1/4 phono to 3.5 mm miniphone plugs
A 1/4 inch phono male connector seats firmly in the flash sync port while the 3.5 mm miniphone male plugs into the Air Remote or Air Sync unit. Both ends are male, so no gender changers are needed. The plug dimensions are specific to Profoto gear and standard studio flashes with matching sockets.

Questions about this item
Will the 1/4" Phono connector fit the sync socket on my older studio flash unit?
Yes, the 1/4" Phono male plug is designed for the standard 1/4" sync socket found on many studio flashes, allowing the Air Remote to trigger the unit wirelessly.
How can I confirm the cable is transmitting the sync signal correctly after connecting it?
Attach the 1/4" end to the flash sync socket and the 3.5mm end to the Air Remote, then fire a test shot; the flash should trigger instantly if the connection is working.
Does the box include the Air Remote or Air Sync unit, or only the 0.98 ft cable itself?
The package contains only the 1/4" Phono male to 3.5mm miniphone male cable; the Profoto Air Remote or Air Sync unit must be purchased separately.
