PTZOptics Move SE 12x optical zoom

This PTZ network camera delivers 1080p60 video over IP, HDMI, USB-C and 3G-SDI for classrooms, houses of worship and conference rooms. The 12x optical zoom lets operators frame distant subjects without digital degradation. Auto-tracking follows a presenter around the room without a dedicated camera operator. Wide dynamic range and 3D noise reduction maintain image quality in mixed lighting.

Capacity and headroom for streaming workflows

Four simultaneous output paths give integrators flexibility to feed a recorder, a projector, a soft-codec PC and an IP stream at once. The 1080p60 ceiling means 4K pipelines and higher frame-rate productions will need a different camera. Low-light capability extends usable hours but cannot replace dedicated illumination in very dark venues. NDI|HX support requires a separate licence upgrade.

Build integration and cabling

A single 12 VDC supply powers the unit while RS-232, IR remote and IP control share management duties. USB-A to USB-A and HDMI cables ship in the box for quick connection to a laptop or display. An Ethernet cable is included for network streaming and control. The bundle adds a lens cleaning kit and colour wire ties for a tidy rack or ceiling mount.

Questions about this item

Will the 12x zoom PTZ camera replace my older fixed webcam on the same USB-C port?

Yes, the camera connects via USB-C and provides 1080p60 video, so it works as a direct upgrade for any computer that recognises a standard UVC device.

How can I verify the 1080p60 output is active after I connect the HDMI and Ethernet cables?

Open the camera’s web interface or your streaming software and confirm the resolution reads 1080p at 60 frames per second on both the HDMI and IP streams.

Does the box contain the 12 VDC power adapter and RS-232 cable, or must I order them separately?

The 12 VDC power adapter, RS-232 cable, IR remote with two AA batteries, and a USB-A to USB-A cable are all included in the manufacturer’s package.
