Studio SE PTZ Camera for Professional Video

The PTZOptics Studio SE is a PTZ network camera built for professional video production and live streaming environments. It delivers 1080p resolution with selectable 12X or 20X optical zoom for precise framing. The grey chassis houses multiple output interfaces including SDI, HDMI, USB and IP streaming. This camera suits broadcasters, content creators and AV integrators needing flexible, studio-grade capture.

Native NDI HX3 IP Output for Network Workflows

The decisive specification is the integrated NDI HX3 technology over the IP output, enabling low-latency, high-quality video transport across standard Ethernet networks. This allows direct discovery and routing within NDI-compatible production ecosystems without additional converters. Buyers whose infrastructure relies on SDI-only or HDMI-only switching without IP capability will not utilise this core network feature.

Bundled Accessories Enable Immediate Deployment

The package includes a 12V 2A international power supply, IR remote with two AAA batteries, USB A-C cable, lens cap and quick start guide. These items allow the camera to be powered, controlled and connected to a host system immediately after unboxing. Users planning permanent installations with PoE or dedicated control panels should note that a PoE injector and advanced control hardware are not included.

Questions about this item

How does 1080p resolution look when the 12X optical zoom is fully extended?

The 1080p sensor maintains full HD detail across the entire zoom range, so a fully extended 12X shot keeps the same pixel count as a wide-angle frame.

What does the NDI HX3 IP output actually allow on a standard gigabit network?

NDI HX3 streams 1080p video over a single Ethernet cable with low latency, letting the camera feed switchers or recorders without dedicated SDI cabling.

What mounting points does the grey Studio SE body provide for studio rigs?

The camera includes a standard 1/4‑20 tripod thread on the base, allowing direct attachment to tripods, ceiling mounts or wall brackets.
