Professional PTZ camera for video production

The PTZOptics Studio SE is a 1080p network camera built for studio and live-streaming workflows. It offers 20X optical zoom and simultaneous SDI, HDMI, USB and IP outputs with native NDI HX3 support. Remote operation is handled through the Hive Studio platform for network-based control.

Suited for multi-camera studios and remote producers

This model fits operators who need flexible output options and IP-based remote management from a single unit. Buyers who require 4K resolution, higher zoom ratios or built-in recording should look at alternative products.

NDI HX3 and Hive Studio change the workflow

Native NDI HX3 allows the camera to join a production network without separate encoders or capture cards. Hive Linked integration provides browser-based pan, tilt, zoom and colour control from any location, reducing the need for on-site camera operators.

Questions about this item

What video switcher or recorder input do I need to connect the SDI output on this PTZOptics Studio SE?

The SDI output connects directly to any production switcher or recorder that accepts an SDI signal at 1080p resolution.

Can I keep my existing HDMI capture device and still use the IP stream with NDI HX3 on this camera?

Yes, the camera provides simultaneous HDMI and IP outputs so you can record via HDMI while streaming over NDI HX3.

How do I confirm the NDI HX3 stream is live after connecting this camera to my network?

Open your NDI-compatible production software; the camera will appear as an available NDI HX3 source once it receives an IP address.
