18" roller cover for semi-smooth surfaces

This PURDY roller cover measures 18 inches in overall length with a 3/8 inch nap. The woven Dralon fabric is designed for use on semi-smooth and smooth surfaces such as drywall. It accepts both oil-based and water-based paints and fits standard cage-style roller frames with a 1 1/2 inch core diameter.

Suited for painters covering large wall areas

The 18 inch width helps painters cover broad sections of drywall quickly with fewer strokes. The 3/8 inch nap holds enough paint for semi-smooth textures without excessive stipple. Buyers needing a cover for rough stucco, textured ceilings, or tight trim work should look at a different nap size or a narrower roller.

Check frame compatibility

Verify that your existing roller frame uses a cage design and accepts an 18 inch cover with a 1 1/2 inch core diameter. The cover includes end caps for a secure fit on compatible frames. Ensure the surface you plan to paint matches the recommended semi-smooth to smooth texture range for best results.
