A 15 cm flat-flexible extender with a gold-plated 36-pin PCIe x1 connector for board-level debug and test work
The Qin Bo Electronics PCI Express 36PIN 1X Extender Cable is a debug and test tool designed to minimise signal degradation. It uses a flat flexible cable for adaptable routing inside a chassis. The gold-plated connectors ensure reliable contact during repeated insertion cycles. Engineers and technicians use it to protect motherboard slots during hardware validation.
As a passive cable assembly the product generates no heat and produces no audible noise during operation. It draws no power of its own and simply passes signals between the host and the add-in card. The 15 cm flat flexible cable keeps the signal path short to preserve integrity. Normal use adds no thermal load to the system.
The single specification that decides suitability is the 36PIN gold-plated connector matching a PCI Express x1 edge connector. Cards requiring x4 x8 or x16 mechanical slots are also physically compatible because the x1 connector is edge-free. Buyers who need a different pin count or a right-angle bracket cannot use this part.

Align the gold-plated 36PIN connector with the motherboard x1 slot, then attach the FFC cable to the riser board; the step often missed is fully seating the FFC into its latch before powering on.
Inspect the gold-plated contacts and FFC crease points periodically; replace the 15cm FFC if the flexible cable shows cracking or the connector pins become bent.
Signal integrity over the 15cm FFC is the first constraint; the extender is designed to minimise degradation, but extended high-speed use will hit the cable’s length-related timing margin first.
