Grey twinaxial direct-attach cable with SFP28 connectors on both ends, 1.5 m long

Qnap

Qnap CABDAC15MSFP28 network ethernet cable 1.5 m 25 Gbit/s SFP28

SKU CH-QARN-K4523 MPN CABDAC15MSFP28

A 1.5 m twinaxial SFP28 cable delivering 25 Gbit/s between network devices

  • 25 Gbit/s throughput with SFP28 direct-attach design
  • 5 m twinaxial cable keeps rack runs short
  • Male SFP28 connectors on both ends for plug-and-play linking
  • 92 ft length fits standard server-to-switch spacing
  • Taiwan manufacture meets Qnap quality standards

Direct-attach 25 GbE cable for short runs

This 1.5 metre twinaxial cable carries 25 Gbit/s between two SFP28 ports. It suits data-centre racks and lab setups that need a fixed, low-latency link without transceivers.

Passive twinax design runs cool and silent

The copper assembly draws negligible power and produces no fan noise, making it ideal for dense switch rows or quiet workstation environments where active optics would add heat.

SFP28 male ends plug straight into compatible ports

Each end presents a standard SFP28 male connector, so the cable fits any switch, NIC or appliance with matching cages. It eliminates separate modules and patch cords, freeing cage space for other links.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Qnap CABDAC15MSFP28 cable and what is the common mistake?

Insert each SFP28 male connector into a compatible SFP28 port until it clicks; the common mistake is not pushing firmly enough to engage the latch, leaving the link inactive.

What maintenance or replacement will the Qnap CABDAC15MSFP28 cable need later?

No scheduled maintenance is required; replace the cable only if the twinaxial assembly is kinked, the SFP28 latches break, or link errors appear at 25 Gbit/s.

What limit appears first on the Qnap CABDAC15MSFP28 cable under sustained 25 Gbit/s use?

The 1.5 m twinaxial length is the primary limit; signal integrity is guaranteed only up to this distance at the rated data transfer rate.
