Outdoor-rated Cat 7 cable

This 250 ft black Ethernet cable is built for outdoor and direct-burial installation. The UV-resistant jacket and triple shielding protect signal integrity in exposed runs. It suits installers who need a single long length rather than multiple shorter patch cords. The cable carries a Cat 7 rating for structured wiring projects.

Gold-plated contacts and OFC conductors

Gold-plated RJ45 contacts on both ends resist corrosion and maintain low contact resistance over time. Conductors use 99.99 % oxygen-free copper to reduce attenuation on long pulls. The shielding and jacket materials are specified for weatherproof durability. No additional connectors, boots or software are included in the package.

600 MHz bandwidth for 10 Gbps links

The cable is rated to 600 MHz, supporting 10 Gbps data rates over the full 250 ft length. Buyers who need longer runs beyond the 100 m channel limit for 10GBASE-T should verify their design margins. Installers requiring plenum or riser fire ratings must select a different cable type.

Questions about this item

Will the RJ45 gold-plated contacts on this 250 ft cable need cleaning or replacement after outdoor exposure?

The gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and are built for durable outdoor use; no routine cleaning or replacement is required under normal conditions.

What is the first performance limit reached on a 250 ft run at 10 Gbps?

At 250 ft the cable remains within the Cat 7 100 metre channel limit, so the 10 Gbps / 600 MHz rating is the governing limit, not the length.

Does the UV-resistant jacket get hot or add noticeable power loss when buried in direct sun all day?

The weatherproof UV-resistant jacket is passive shielding; it generates no heat and adds no measurable power loss during continuous outdoor operation.
