SKU CH-Z5TJ-3N308

Connects CAT5e or CAT6 devices with a snagless, one-foot patch cord built from stranded wire and moulded boots for Gigabit Ethernet

  • Gigabit-ready connection for high-speed networking
  • Snagless moulded boots protect the connector latch
  • Stranded conductors give extra cable flexibility
  • One-foot length suits tight patch-panel runs
  • Black PVC jacket for clean cable management

Ready-to-run patch lead

This QVS CC71501BK cable is a one-foot Category 6 patch cord with stranded conductors and moulded snagless boots. It is built for Gigabit Ethernet links between a computer, hub, patch panel or wall jack. The black PVC jacket keeps the run tidy in racks or on desks.

Suited to short, flexible runs

Installers who need a supple lead for patch-panel cross-connects or desk-side drops will appreciate the stranded construction. Buyers looking for longer horizontal runs, outdoor-rated jacket or solid-conductor cable for permanent installs should choose a different type.

Category 6 Gigabit rating

The cable meets CAT6 performance and supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds on any CAT5e or CAT6 channel. No other specification in the data determines suitability for a given link.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the cable is delivering Gigabit Ethernet speeds after connecting it?

Check the link speed indicator on your router, switch, or network adapter settings; it should report a 1 Gbps connection when the cable is seated correctly in both ports.

Does the package include only the 1 ft CAT6 cable, or are any couplers or wall plates supplied?

Only the single 1 ft snagless patch cord with molded boots is included; couplers, wall plates, or longer cables must be purchased separately.

Should I choose this 1 ft version or a longer length for connecting a desktop to a nearby wall jack?

Select the 1 ft cable only when the devices are extremely close; for any slack or routing around furniture, a 3 ft or longer patch cord is more practical.
