3U Universal Rail for 4-Post Racks

This 3U universal rail kit fits square, round and threaded holes in any standard 4-post rack. It is built from 18 GA steel with a zinc-plated finish and replaces damaged or missing OEM slide rails for Dell, HP, IBM, Apple and other leading brands. The fixed rail design supports equipment up to 45 lbs (20 kg).

Adjustable Mounting Depth Limits

The rails adjust continuously from 10 inches to 31.5 inches (254 to 800 mm), so the rack depth must fall inside that window. A 45 lb weight ceiling means heavier chassis cannot be mounted safely. The included wirebar is optional and does not extend the depth range.

Tool-Less Installation and Common Issues

The rails clamp onto the rack posts without tools, but alignment can be tricky when holes are tightly spaced or threads are worn. Verify the inner-to-inner post measurement before mounting; exceeding the 31.5 inch maximum is the most frequent cause of fitment failure. The wirebar snaps on last for cable routing.
