15U Open Frame Server Rack

This 15U open frame rack mounts standard 19 inch wide equipment in a four-post steel frame. It suits server rooms, audio installations or network closets where airflow and cable access are priorities. The unit ships new and includes M6 screws with cage nuts for immediate mounting. Depth adjusts in 1.5 inch increments to match varying chassis lengths.

Four-Post Frame with Adjustable Depth

The rack presents 24 inches of post-to-post install depth while the overall footprint measures 40 inches high, 24 inches wide and 32 inches deep including the caster base. Square screw holes accept the supplied hardware so rails or shelves can be positioned at any U height. Locking casters let the assembled rack move between locations without unloading equipment.

400 LB Static Load Capacity

The welded steel construction supports up to 400 pounds of installed gear across the 15U vertical space. Open sides and top promote passive cooling during continuous operation without fan noise. Casters are rated for the full load so the rack remains stable when repositioned under weight. First listed by the manufacturer in 2024.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the 15U 4-post rack hold before it reaches its load limit?

The rack is rated for a 400 lb capacity, so that is the maximum equipment weight it can support.

Does the 22-inch deep open frame rack generate any noise or heat during continuous operation?

The rack is a passive steel frame with no fans or power supply, so it produces no noise or heat of its own.

What mounting hardware must I already have to install 19-inch equipment in this rack?

The rack includes M6 screws and cage nuts for its square holes, so no extra hardware is required for standard 19-inch gear.
