27U 4-Post Open Frame Rack

This 27U open frame rack accepts 19-inch standard equipment and provides an adjustable post-to-post depth of 17 inches. It is built from 5mm SPCC cold-rolled steel with a 700LB load capacity and ships flat-packed for assembly. Four casters make the assembled unit movable for flexible placement.

Suits installers needing adjustable depth

The open design offers unrestricted airflow and easy cable access for servers and network gear. Buyers requiring lockable side panels, integrated cable management channels or a lower weight footprint should consider enclosed cabinet alternatives.

Fits standard 19-inch gear with included hardware

Three pairs of 13.5-inch L rails, M6 screws and cage nuts are supplied for immediate mounting. The rack depth adjusts in 1.5-inch increments to match equipment length, freeing floor space while supporting heavy loads on the caster base.

Questions about this item

What 19-inch equipment can I mount in this 27U rack?

Any standard 19-inch wide server or network device fits the square hole rails, and the included M6 screws with cage nuts secure it.

Will my existing 13.5-inch deep L-rail shelves still work with the adjustable posts?

Yes, the posts adjust in 1.5-inch increments up to a 17-inch post-to-post depth, so 13.5-inch L rails remain compatible.

How do I confirm the rack is level and stable after assembly on its casters?

Lock the four casters, verify the frame measures 60 inches high by 24 inches wide by 24 inches deep, and ensure no wobble when loaded up to 700 lb.
