Built for Serato DJ battle performance

The Rane Seventy is a two-channel Serato DJ mixer constructed from solid steel for touring durability. It targets battle DJs and performance-focused users who need a portable, no-compromise unit with an intuitive high-performance layout. The mixer integrates dedicated hardware controls for Serato DJ software functions, putting creative tools directly at the fingertips. It is not suited for buyers who need more than two channels or a mixer without Serato integration.

MAG FOUR faders and internal FX engines

Three ultra-light MAG FOUR contactless faders handle channel and crossfader duties, featuring external crossfader tension adjustment for tailored feel. Six dual post-fader FLEX FX engines provide internal effects processing alongside Serato DJ FX controls. Dedicated loop sections and Instant Double buttons offer immediate access to looping and deck duplication functions. The solid steel chassis ensures stability during intensive weekly touring schedules.

Dual USB ports and Rane Twelve hub

Two USB connections enable seamless DJ handoffs without interrupting the audio flow. A dedicated Rane Twelve Connection Hub simplifies integration with Rane Twelve controllers. Two microphone inputs support vocalists or MCs during live sets. Sixteen Akai Professional dual-layer MPC pads with independent mode controls per deck cover Hot Cue, Pitch ‘n Time, Saved Loops, Sampler, Roll and Transport functions. Two diecast aluminum FX paddles rotate 180° for customizable ergonomics.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Rane Seventy mixer and which step do people most often miss?

Connect the mixer via its two USB ports to your computer, then route main and booth outputs to your PA or monitors; the step most often missed is setting the external crossfader tension knob to match your scratch style before the first set.

What maintenance or replacement will the Rane Seventy need later?

The three MAG FOUR contactless faders have no physical contacts to wear out, so routine care is limited to keeping the 16 Akai Professional pads and two microphone inputs free of dust and debris.

What limit appears first during a long session on the Rane Seventy?

At 19.75 kg the mixer’s weight becomes the practical limit for portable setups, making extended transport or frequent repositioning the first constraint you’ll hit.
