Splits PoE into 5V 4A Type-C power plus Gigabit data for non-PoE devices
The Ransanx TYPEC0504G separates power and data from a single Ethernet cable. It accepts a 48 V DC PoE input compliant with IEEE 802.3 af/at and delivers 5 V at 4 A through a USB-C connector while passing Gigabit data through its RJ45 ports. The unit operates from -40 °C to 70 °C with isolation, short-circuit and over-voltage protection.
Suited for deployments where a Raspberry Pi 4 or 5, IP camera, tablet or similar 5 V USB-C device needs both power and network connectivity without a local mains outlet. Not intended for equipment requiring voltages other than 5 V, for endpoints needing more than 30 W, or for networks limited to 100 Mbps cabling.
The decisive specification is the 5 V 4 A output delivered through the Type-C port when fed by a standard 48 V PoE source. This determines whether the splitter can run a specific USB-C device such as a Raspberry Pi 5 or an IP camera without an additional power adapter.
