Razer BlackWidow V4 X Gaming Keyboard

The Razer BlackWidow V4 X is a full-size mechanical keyboard built for gamers who want dedicated macro keys and per-key RGB lighting. It uses a linear switch design and includes a multi-function roller plus secondary media controls for quick adjustments during play.

Yellow Linear Switches 1.2mm Actuation

The keyboard uses Razer Yellow Mechanical Linear Switches with a 1.2mm actuation point and 45g actuation force. They are rated for a 100-million keystroke lifespan and include built-in sound dampeners for quieter rapid-fire inputs.

Doubleshot ABS Keycaps and Foam Dampening

Doubleshot ABS keycaps with extra-thick walls resist legend wear during extended sessions. A layer of foam under the circuit board and lubricated stabilizers reduce acoustic resonance, delivering a quieter typing sound without altering the linear feel.

The linear Yellow switches actuate and reset at 1.2 mm with 45 g of force, giving instant rapid-fire inputs for gaming.

What connection standard does the keyboard use and what does it limit?

It connects via USB and draws power from that port, so cable length and available USB headers set the practical placement limits.

What desk space and mounting clearance does the board need?

The chassis measures 18.36 in wide by 6.01 in deep by 1.71 in high, so allow at least that footprint plus room for the detachable wrist rest and cable routing grooves.
