Razer Kraken V4 X My Melody Edition

This wired gaming headset targets players who want a single headset for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. The convertible USB Type-C and Type-A cable removes the need for separate connectors across those platforms. The My Melody Edition styling adds a pink colourway with plush earcups and Razer Chroma RGB lighting that syncs with over 300 games and 500 devices.

40 mm TriForce drivers and 7.1 surround sound

Proprietary 40-millimetre drivers use a three-part design to separate highs, mids and lows without muddying the mix. Virtual 7.1 surround sound expands positional cues for competitive and immersive titles. The 32-ohm impedance and 96-decibel sensitivity keep volume adequate for most desktop and console outputs, though very low-output mobile devices may run out of headroom.

Retractable HyperClear cardioid microphone

The retractable boom lifts away when not needed and extends for clear voice capture with a cardioid pickup pattern that rejects off-axis noise. Memory-foam hybrid cushions combine fabric and leatherette for long-session comfort and passive isolation. Buyers who require wireless freedom, Bluetooth connectivity or active noise cancellation will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-C and USB-A cable let me use this Kraken V4 X with a PC that only has older USB-A ports?

Yes, the included convertible cable has both USB-C and USB-A connectors so you can plug directly into legacy USB-A ports without an extra adapter.

How can I confirm the 7.1 surround sound is active once I plug the headset in?

Open Razer Synapse on your PC, select the Kraken V4 X, and enable 7.1 Surround Sound; the software will show the status and let you test each virtual channel.

Does the box include the convertible USB-C to USB-A cable or do I need to buy it separately?

The convertible Type-C and Type-A cable is included in the box, so no separate purchase is required for wired connection.
