RCA 100 ft 14/2 CL2 Speaker Wire

This 100 ft spool of 14 AWG speaker wire uses copper-clad aluminum conductors with 99 strands of 0.16 mm each. The white CL2-rated jacket is approved for in-wall installation and includes a rip cord for easy stripping. It ships in an Easy Pull Box with sequential markings every two feet.

Suitable for in-wall audio.

Installers running speaker cable through walls or ceilings will meet code with the CL2 rating. Builders who need pure copper conductors for critical high-current runs should choose a different wire type.

14 AWG copper-clad aluminum gauge

The 14 AWG CCA construction determines current capacity and voltage drop over distance. Verify that this gauge meets the load and length requirements of your specific installation before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 100 ft 14/2 roll or a shorter length for my in-wall speaker runs?

The 100 ft roll suits whole-room or multi-speaker layouts. Sequential markings every two feet let you measure exact pulls without waste.

What does the 14 AWG gauge mean for speaker performance in my system?

14 AWG with 99 strands of 0.16 mm CCA conductors keeps resistance low on typical home runs, delivering clean signal to speakers and low-voltage devices.

How does the CL2 rating affect where I can run this cable?

CL2 rating meets NEC requirements for in-wall and indoor low-voltage use, so you can install it inside walls for speakers, security, or LED lighting.
