Precision .35 caliber flash-hole deburring tool ensures consistent ignition by removing burrs once per brass lifespan
The RCBS Flash Hole Deburring Tool model 88133 is a dedicated reloading accessory built for .35 caliber brass cases. It targets hand-loaders and competitive shooters who require uniform ignition for consistent accuracy. The caliber-specific pilot stop ensures the cutter engages the flash hole correctly without damaging the surrounding brass. This tool addresses a single critical step in precision case preparation.
The tool removes manufacturing burrs left inside the flash hole after the case is pierced. Once deburred, the brass does not require this operation again during its service life. This one-time process eliminates a source of ignition variance between rounds. The result is more consistent primer ignition and pressure curves across a batch of ammunition.
The tool operates entirely by hand on a reloading bench and requires no external power or calibration. It is limited to .35 caliber cases and cannot be adapted for other diameters. Users must supply their own case holder and driving mechanism such as a handle or drill. The accessory does not measure or verify flash-hole dimensions after cutting.

No published specifications for this item yet.
The tool is built for long-term reloading use; the deburring step is required only once per brass lifespan, so the pilot stop does not wear out under normal conditions.
There is no stated throughput limit; the single-use-per-brass design means each case is processed once, and the tool’s durable construction handles continuous hand operation.
It is a manual hand tool with no motor or electrical components, so it produces no heat and needs no power source.
