Portable 12-Volt Battery Charging

This briefcase solar panel delivers 80 watts of monocrystalline power to charge and maintain 12-Volt batteries in off-grid situations. The integrated diode prevents reverse discharge when sunlight fades. Its folding briefcase frame and built-in handle make it simple to carry and store between uses on site, aboard a boat or alongside GPS equipment.

Ideal for Mobile Off-Grid Power

Workers needing reliable battery top-ups at remote job sites, boat owners maintaining starter or house batteries and outdoor users keeping navigation gear running will find the panel well suited. It is not designed for permanent roof mounting, grid-tie installations or powering high-draw AC appliances directly. Buyers who require higher continuous output or fixed-array configurations should consider larger fixed-panel systems.

80-Watt Monocrystalline Output

The single deciding specification is the 80-watt monocrystalline rating, which determines how quickly a 12-Volt battery bank can be replenished under full sun. Match this figure to the amp-hour capacity of your batteries and the daily energy demand of your devices to confirm the panel will meet your charging needs.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a 12-Volt battery separately?

The briefcase panel is supplied with a built-in blocking diode and carry handle; a 12-Volt battery is not included and must be purchased separately.

How do I decide whether the 80-watt rating suits my needs?

The 80-watt output is intended for maintaining or slowly charging 12-Volt batteries on job sites, boats or GPS systems; choose it if that power level matches your typical daily draw.

What does the 80-watt figure mean once the panel is unfolded in sunlight?

Under full sun the panel can deliver up to 80 watts toward a 12-Volt battery, with the integrated diode preventing reverse discharge when light fades.
