Analog dome camera with 1.8 mm fisheye lens delivering 180° coverage and 30 ft night vision, compatible with 5 MP or 8 MP DVRs
The Real HD 5MP TVI Fisheye Dome is an analog security camera that connects by coaxial cable to a compatible DVR. It captures 5-megapixel video through a 1.8mm fisheye lens giving a 180 degree field of view. Infrared LEDs provide night vision to 30ft. The IP66-rated metal housing operates from -40°F to 140°F for indoor or outdoor mounting.
This camera suits installers who have a 5MP or 8MP 4K DVR and need a single wide-angle dome to cover a large room or yard. It will not work with 3MP or lower resolution DVRs. Buyers who want built-in recording, remote viewing without a DVR, or a camera that operates on a 3MP recorder should look at something else.
The camera ships with a DIP switch to select TVI, CVI, AHD or CVBS output; set it to match the DVR before mounting. A coaxial run and corded electric power are required. Common issues include leaving the switch on the default TVI 4MP setting instead of changing to 5MP, or connecting to an incompatible DVR resolution.
