What It Is

The Renfroe LJ-01.00-A is a steel plate clamp rated for a 2000 lb working load limit. It handles horizontal and vertical lifting of plates from 0 to 3/4 in thick using a toothed grip and manual open/close operation with a lock. A 2 1/2 in load ring attaches to hoist gear.

Before You Order

Confirm the material thickness falls within the 0 to 3/4 in jaw range. Verify the lifting device can accept a 2 1/2 in diameter attachment ring. Ensure the load does not exceed the 2000 lb limit and that the workpiece surface tolerates a toothed grip.

In the Build

The clamp measures 13 1/2 in high, 2 7/8 in wide and 6 1/2 in deep. Its manual lock frees the operator from holding the handle during transport. The single unit replaces chains or slings for plate handling and meets ASME BTH-1 standards for below-the-hook devices.
