General-purpose plastic-deck platform truck

The Rubbermaid FG440300BLA is a single-level cart built for moving heavy loads across warehouses, workshops or loading bays. Its 1,000 lb capacity suits pallets, crates and bulky equipment. The removable raised handle allows the operator to push or pull the deck through doorways and tight aisles. No side panels are fitted, so oversized items can overhang the edges.

Capacity and headroom

The solid plastic deck measures 36 in by 24 in and sits 9 1/4 in above the floor, giving a low loading height for hand stacking. A flush lip keeps items from sliding off during sudden stops. The 1,000 lb rating is the structural limit; exceeding it risks frame deformation or wheel failure. The deck has no side containment, so tall, unsecured stacks can topple on uneven ground.

Thermals noise and power draw

The powder-coated steel frame and plastic deck produce no heat and require no power source. Operation is silent on smooth concrete because the casters roll without motors or gears. Noise only appears when wheels cross expansion joints or debris. There are no thermal limits, duty cycles or electrical draw to consider.

Questions about this item

Will the 36 in steel frame platform truck roll smoothly on my existing concrete warehouse floor?

The truck rolls on four casters mounted to a powder-coated steel frame, and the 24 in deck width gives a stable footprint on smooth concrete.

How can I confirm the 1000 lb capacity is holding after I assemble the removable handle?

Load the deck evenly up to the rated limit; the solid plastic deck and flush lip should show no flex or permanent deformation.

Does the box include the removable raised handle and all mounting hardware for the FG440300BLA?

The unit ships as a complete platform truck with the removable raised handle and powder-coated steel frame already assembled.
