8CH 4K NVR Kit with 2TB Storage

This 8-channel PoE surveillance kit includes four 8MP cameras and a network video recorder with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive. It is designed for homeowners or small businesses that want a complete, wired monitoring system with continuous 24/7 recording capability. The system supports up to 12TB of total storage for extended footage retention.

PoE Cameras with Spotlight and Zoom

Each camera connects via a single Ethernet cable for both power and data, simplifying installation across a property. The motorised varifocal lens provides a 31°~105° viewing angle, while integrated spotlights enable full-colour night vision and can be scheduled or triggered by motion. A built-in siren and two-way audio allow remote deterrence and communication through the Reolink app or client.

5X Optical Zoom at 3840x2160 Resolution

The cameras capture 4K Ultra HD video at 3840x2160, offering 1.6X the clarity of 5MP and 4X the detail of 1080P. The 5X optical zoom lets users magnify distant objects without digital degradation, making it the decisive specification for identifying faces or licence plates at range. H.265 compression maximises the available 12TB storage capacity.

Questions about this item

What video standard does the 8‑channel NVR use and what resolution does it cap at?

The NVR records 4K Ultra HD at 3840×2160 using H.265 compression across all eight channels.

What physical mounting and power does each 8MP PoE camera require?

Each camera mounts outdoors and draws power through a single Ethernet cable carrying IEEE 802.3af PoE; no separate power adapter is needed when plugged into the NVR.

How do I enable two‑way talk on this kit and what step do users miss?

Two‑way talk works only through the Reolink App or Client — not the NVR monitor — so you must install the app on a phone or computer and use its interface to speak and listen.
