8-Channel 4K PoE Surveillance Kit

This Reolink system bundles eight 8MP wired PoE cameras with an 8-channel NVR that ships with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive. It is designed for homeowners or small businesses that need continuous 4K recording across multiple outdoor and indoor zones without running separate power cables to each camera. The kit supports up to eight cameras in total.

Thermals noise and power draw

Each camera receives power and data through a single Ethernet cable connected to the NVR's PoE ports, eliminating external power adapters and reducing cable clutter. The NVR runs continuously for 24/7 recording while the cameras operate outdoors in varying temperatures. No acoustic or power-consumption figures are provided by the supplier.

12TB maximum storage capacity

The NVR accepts additional hard drives up to a total of 12TB, so the included 2TB drive can be supplemented for longer retention. If you need more than 12TB of local storage or want to connect cameras from other brands, this system will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 8MP PoE cameras using the four 60ft CAT5 cables?

Connect each camera directly to a PoE port on the NVR with the supplied cables; the system then auto-detects them and shows live view within seconds.

What storage upgrade does the NVR support when the 2TB drive fills?

The NVR accepts an internal HDD up to 12TB, so you can replace the original drive with a larger one for extended 24/7 recording.

What limits continuous 4K recording at 3840x2160 resolution over long periods?

The pre-installed 2TB HDD capacity is the first bottleneck; sustained 24/7 capture from eight cameras will fill it before any other component reaches its limit.
