Single 8MP 4K wireless camera

The Reolink Altas PT Ultra is a standalone 8MP network camera that records at 3840 x 2160 resolution and 15fps. It connects via dual-band 2.4 / 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi 6 and supports ONVIF for integration with compatible recorders. The unit mounts wirelessly and includes a Micro SD slot for local storage.

20000mAh battery with solar compatibility

A built-in 20000mAh battery powers the camera for up to 500 days in standard motion-trigger mode based on 300 seconds of daily recording. Solar panel compatibility extends operation through winter months without mains wiring. ColorX night vision and integrated spotlights maintain full-color monitoring after dark.

Fixed focal lens and 15fps frame rate

The fixed focal lens provides a 360° pan and tilt range but does not offer optical zoom adjustment. Maximum video capture is limited to 15fps at 4K, which may affect motion clarity for fast-moving subjects. Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 throughput depends on local network conditions and router capability.

Questions about this item

How often will the 20000mAh battery need recharging if the camera records 300 seconds daily?

In standard PIR motion-trigger mode the built-in 20000mAh battery lasts about 500 days on a single charge when recording 300 seconds per day.

What limits continuous 4K recording at 15fps on the 3840 x 2160 sensor?

Battery capacity is the first limit; sustained 4K 15fps recording drains the 20000mAh cell far faster than the 500-day PIR estimate.

How much heat or fan noise does the camera produce during all-day operation?

The camera has no fan and runs silently; its low-power wireless design and 20000mAh battery keep heat output minimal during continuous use.
