Product and Audience

The Reolink Argus 4 Pro is a wireless 4K battery camera with a 180° dual-lens panorama and a bundled 6W solar panel. It targets homeowners who want wide-area outdoor monitoring without running power or network cables. Colour night vision and AI detection aim to reduce false alerts.

Suitable Buyers and Limits

This kit suits properties needing a single wire-free viewpoint with local microSD storage up to 128GB and optional Home Hub expansion. Buyers who require continuous recording without solar reliance, multi-camera NVR integration, or wired network stability should consider other solutions.

Deciding Specification

The defining figure is the 180° field of view stitched from two 8MP lenses at 5120 x 1440 resolution. If your site needs that exact panoramic width in 4K from a battery device, this model matches; if a narrower angle or wired power is acceptable, a different camera may fit better.

Questions about this item

One camera is included — how do I decide if I need additional cameras for my property?

The kit provides a single 180° 4K unit that covers a wide area with one panorama; add more cameras only if you need overlapping views or separate zones beyond this field of view.

What does the 5120 × 1440 resolution mean when I watch live footage?

The dual lenses stitch into a seamless 180° 4K panorama, so the live stream shows a continuous ultra-wide 4K image without blind spots.

The camera uses IEEE 802.11ac on 2.4 / 5.0 GHz — what does that cap in practice?

Dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 delivers fast, low-latency 4K streaming; the 5 GHz band handles the high bitrate while 2.4 GHz extends range through walls.
