Revell Peterbilt 359 1/25 Scale Model Kit

This Level 4 kit contains 116 detailed parts moulded in white with soft black tyres and chrome-plated components. It builds an authentic replica of the classic Peterbilt 359 conventional truck tractor without a trailer. The set is aimed at adult collectors and experienced hobbyists who enjoy complex assembly projects.

Authentic Detailing and Accessories

The box includes colourful decal artwork for accurate livery recreation and many factory chrome-plated parts such as the grille, fuel tanks, simulated alloy wheels and dual exhaust stacks. A tilting hood reveals a detailed six-cylinder turbocharged Caterpillar diesel engine. Paint and cement are required to complete the model but are not supplied in the package.

Build Quality and Practical Considerations

Parts arrive in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging with vintage-style graphics. The 1/25 scale size creates a substantial display piece once assembled. Chrome trim details can be replicated using silver paint where plating is not pre-applied. This kit suits builders prepared for multi-session construction and careful finishing work.

Questions about this item

Will the 116 plastic parts need replacement if any break during assembly?

The kit contains 116 parts molded in white with chrome-plated details; broken pieces would require sourcing a spare sprue or aftermarket replacement as no extra parts are included.

What limits continuous display of the tilted hood and exposed Caterpillar diesel engine?

The hood tilts open on a plastic hinge; repeated opening may stress the hinge pins, so limit movement once the model is positioned for display.

Does the 1/25 scale kit generate heat or noise when left assembled on a shelf all day?

This is a static plastic model kit with no electronics, motors or moving components, so it produces no heat, noise or power draw once assembled.
