Slim line-array speaker for distributed audio

The Yamaha VXL1W-16 packs 16 neodymium full-range drivers into a narrow white enclosure. It targets venues that need clear speech and background music across a wide seating area without bulky cabinets. The 170-degree horizontal spread keeps volume consistent from centre to edge. Installers choose it for lecture halls, conference rooms and reflective spaces where intelligibility matters.

Bracket mounting with paintable finish

The supplied bracket lets you fix the speaker to a wall or ceiling and aim the vertical coverage between 20 and 40 degrees. A slim profile and curved grille keep the visual footprint small, and the grille can be painted to match any décor. IP35 rating means the driver array resists dust and light water spray, so placement near entrances or covered patios is feasible. No specialised tools are required beyond basic hardware.

Passive 320 W design needs external amplification

This model has no built-in amplifier; it presents a passive load rated for up to 320 W maximum power handling. System designers must pair it with a suitable amplifier and signal processing to reach target SPL. The fixed 1.5-inch driver size limits low-frequency extension, so a subwoofer is necessary for full-range music reproduction. Vertical coverage adjustment is mechanical, not electronic.
