  • Automatic thermostat maintains set temperature without manual adjustment
  • Compact 24.3 in height and 17.75 in diameter fits tight utility spaces

15-gallon commercial electric water heater

This 15-gallon commercial electric water heater operates on a 120 V AC single-phase supply and draws 12.5 A. It is suited for light-duty commercial hot-water needs where a compact tank and standard-voltage connection are required.

Single element with automatic thermostat

The unit uses one 1,500 W heating element and includes an automatic thermostat for temperature control. Cold water enters through a 3/4 in NPT inlet located 4.6 in from the base, and hot water exits at 21.9 in. The tank stands 24.3 in tall with a 17.75 in diameter, allowing installation in tight indoor spaces.

Replaces smaller-capacity point-of-use heaters

This model replaces lower-capacity point-of-use heaters when a 15 gph recovery rate at a 40 °F rise is needed. The jump is worthwhile when demand exceeds what a compact under-sink unit can sustain. It does not suit applications requiring higher first-hour delivery or three-phase power.

Questions about this item

How long can the 1,500 W element sustain recovery before the 15 gal tank is depleted?

The heater recovers 15 gph at a 40 °F rise; sustained draw beyond that rate will exceed the element's capacity and drop outlet temperature.

What are the noise, heat and power characteristics when the unit runs continuously?

It draws 12.5 A at 120 V (1,500 W) with a single immersed element, so heat output is steady and acoustic signature is limited to minor expansion clicks.

What electrical supply must already be in place for this heater to operate?

A dedicated 120 V AC single-phase circuit rated for at least 12.5 A with a 3/4 in NPT cold-water connection is required.
