Ricoh PA03795-B055 document scanner, 40 ppm simplex, 80 ipm duplex, 600 dpi, 20-sheet ADF

Compact sheet-fed scanner for reception desks

The Ricoh fi-800R is a space-saving sheet-fed scanner built for front-desk and reception use. Its dual-path mechanism accepts documents from the front or top and switches paths automatically. A 20-sheet automatic document feeder handles routine batches while the return-scan function processes passports and ID cards up to 5 mm thick without a carrier sheet.

Sustained throughput with automatic path switching

Continuous U-turn scanning keeps pages moving at 40 ppm simplex or 80 ipm duplex without pausing to change profiles. The scanner detects the feed location and selects the correct path on the fly, so mixed batches of standard sheets and thick cards run uninterrupted. Optical resolution remains fixed at 600 dpi throughout long jobs.

20-sheet ADF capacity defines batch limits

The automatic document feeder holds 20 sheets per load, setting the maximum unattended batch size. Users with larger daily volumes will need to reload more frequently, while occasional passport or ID scanning benefits from the single-sheet return path. No larger feeder option is included.
