Fan hub for multi-fan builds

This RIITOP PWM hub expands a single motherboard 4-pin header to ten fan connections. It is intended for enthusiasts who need to run many chassis or cooler fans from one PWM signal. The red CPU port reports speed to the board; the other nine ports receive the same PWM duty cycle but do not report speed back.

Powered by Molex from the PSU

The CPU fan draws power through the motherboard header while fans one to nine are fed by a Molex LP4 connector from the power supply. This arrangement removes the current limit of the board header and lets the hub drive up to ten fans without overloading the motherboard. A self-adhesive pad is included for securing the 70x47x17 mm board inside the case.

3-pin fans run at fixed full speed

Four-pin fans respond to temperature-controlled PWM curves; three-pin fans lack the control wire so they spin at full speed once connected. Only the dedicated CPU port provides a tachometer signal to the motherboard. The 40 cm cable keeps routing tidy and the unit weighs 25 g.

Questions about this item

How many fans can run at once before the Molex connector limits total current?

The hub splits one motherboard PWM header into ten ports; the CPU fan draws power from the board while the other nine fans are fed through the Molex 4-pin connector from the PSU.

Does the hub stay quiet and cool when all ten fans run continuously?

The PCB measures 70 by 47 by 17 millimetres and weighs 25 grams; it has no active cooling, so noise and heat depend entirely on the attached fans and case airflow.

What motherboard header and power supply connector must I already have for this to work?

You need one free 4-pin PWM fan header on the motherboard and one spare Molex 4-pin (LP4) connector from the power supply.
